6th Stockport Scout Group is a charity and we need an executive committee. If you want to help us but feel that a weekly or monthly commitment is too much maybe this would be ideal for you. The executive committee meet 4 times each year.
The executive committee works closely with the Group Scout Leader to ensure the group is run effectively and safely. You would act as a trustee for the charity.
The committee is composed of 3 key officers; the chair, secretary and treasurer along with a group of executive committee members.
- The Chair is appointed by the Group Scout Leader and leads the executive committee
- The secretary provides administrative support for the executive committee
- The treasurer provides financial administration for the committee and the group
- Executive committee members contribute towards the running and management of the group
Executive committee members require a DBS check and a small amount of trianing via elearning.
